Our Facility
Acquired by Rushnell Funeral Homes in 2007 from the Walas family, Brighton Funeral Home stands out on picturesque Main Street in Brighton as one of the most prominent buildings with its classic wood trimming and original stain glass windows.
The Brighton Funeral Home was built in 1882 by Miss Francis C. Biggar.
In 1934, Burton E. Brintnell purchased the home and moved the funeral business from the downtown furniture store.
Previous owners were the Ridley family, the Cummings family, the Snider family and the Mackey family.
