Condolence: Dear Pam and David,
When I contacted your father a few years ago he reminded me that we had met for the first time at my Dad's funeral in Fenelon Falls in 1965. My father, Ken Munnings, a first cousin of the Smiths, had passed away very suddenly and your father made the long trek to attend. My brother, Peter, and I were 12 and 11 at the time and the intervening years took us in different directions. However, it has been our great pleasure in these latter years to make your Dad's acquaintance once again. He was a very fine gentleman, constantly buoyed up by the love and support he received from his family of whom he was so justifiably proud! We also appreciated very much his desire to introduce us to yourselves. Please be assured of our love and prayers as we grieve with you at this time of your great loss!

Condolence: Hi Pam and David,
Over the years that we’ve known Macdonald, whom I called “Mac”, with his permission of course, we found him to be one of the greatest men we could possibly have known. Our conversations always revolved around “family” and his actions of genuine kindness and generosity showed his great love and respect for family. There was never a conversation where he did not mention how lucky he was to have such wonderful children, grandchildren and their respective families and not to mention how proud he was of all his great grandchildren. We will always remember Mac or Grandpa, as Marie called him, for his modesty, his kindness and generosity, for his smile and laughter and for the huge brick of cheese that he gave to Marie and me every Christmas.
Pam and David, please accept our heartfelt condolences for the loss of your Dad and may God bless Mac and may He keep him safe.
