Read, Ruby Elizabeth – It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Ruby on Tuesday, July 24th, 2018, in her 90th year. Daughter of the late Lewis and Elizabeth Reid (nee Blair). Predeceased by her loving husband Arthur “Art” Read. Beloved mother of Donald Read (Kim). Loving sister of Shirley Bamford (predeceased by Don), Lois Jackson (predeceased by Ron), Vera Wannamaker (Everett) and Frank Reid (Jean). Ruby is predeceased by siblings Bernice Lowe (Foster Rose), (Ken Lowe) and Allan Reid (surviving Sandy). Ruby was a proud grandmother of Erica, Jessica, Alicia, Melanie and Victoria; and great grandmother to Colby, Connor and Braxon. Friends may call at the BELLEVILLE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 68 North Front St., Belleville (613-968-5080) on Friday, July 27th, 2018 from 10:00 am - 12:00 pm. Followed by funeral held in the chapel Friday, July 27th, 2018 at 12:00 pm. Interment at Foxboro Cemetery. If desired, donations to the Alzheimer’s Society would be greatly appreciated by the family.
