The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Doris Farrar can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Condolence: Our love and prayers are with all of you. Rhonda when you called and told me about your Mom so many memories flooded my mind. Your home was a second home to me —we shared so many things growing up school girl talks, sleepovers and especially vacations. I will never forget our trip down East and your Dad trying to get the tent trailer up before the rain and your Mom laughing so hard at him. She was such a special lady. It’s hard to believe our parents are all gone now but we were privileged to have had “The Best” and to know they are all safe and secure with the Lord. Memories are wonderful and believe me they will comfort you in the days ahead . Take Care my Dear Friend ,
Love: Loreen & Bob

Condolence From: Dennis and Judy Crowe
Condolence: Rhonda and family, What a great lady this woman was. She and your Dad were good friends of my parents over the years. They had very similar tastes in music and other hobbies. Over the years Dennis and I got to know them very well. I served as their Pastor when I was Interim Pastor at Frankford Community Free Methodist Church and during the years as Assistant Pastor and Parish Nurse. The beauty of the many visits we shared, was that while I went to uplift either of them, it was I who always came away feeling encouraged and blessed. Their love for the Lord, for each other, and for their family, and friends was very evident by the way they lived their lives. Doris will be truly missed. Her quick smile, laugh and zest for life touched and influenced all who came in contact with her. Yes, she will be missed, however, earth’s loss is heaven’s gain. I truly believe she is with the Lord hearing him say, Well done good and faithful servant. May that and the thought of her and your Dad reuniting bring you comfort.
We are unable to be there with you, but you are all in our hearts and prayers. May the Lord, the One your Mom is with right now, wrap His arms around you and comfort you with that truth and with His love. May He be with you and carry you as go through this time. We send our love and prayers,
Dennis & Judy
