The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Fred Deacon can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Thank you.

Dear Barb

So sorry to read of Fred's death .When you closed the outlet store east of Belleville I lost contact with your family. After my divorce from Heather I lost touch with Belleville .I knew Fred from the years before public school and because he got into public school before me I was a year behind him,but we were early playmates. Our friendship was revived after I married Heather ,and after my family had moved to Kingston in 1946. I married Heather in 1961. .So sorry to hear of Fred's death . I have been practising law for 47 years and am still enjoying the practice. I remarried 10 years ago and am now living in a condo in Toronto .. -Tom Marshall
