ROW, ERMA BERNICE (formerly Henry)
Erma, age 91, passed away on Monday, March 27th, 2017 at the Westgate Lodge in Belleville, Ontario. Born on a prairie farm outside of Feudal, Saskatchewan on April 29th, 1925, Erma’s school years led her to Saskatoon where she met and married Robert James Henry in 1947. With her husband’s career in the RCAF, she traveled extensively throughout Canada and Europe with their last posting in the Bay of Quinte area. Erma was a devoted wife and mother who had boundless energy in all aspects of life. She was a woman of many talents including cooking, sewing, and even throwing a baseball. Erma remarried in 1995 to Ross Row. She spent her remaining years with this fine gentleman and great companion traveling the globe. She was a loving mother to Donna (Wayne), Bill (Jose) and John (Rachel) and a proud Nana of Lisa, Laura, Amy, Katerine, Paige and Sam. She will be missed by her great grandchildren Eva, William, Gillian, Lilia, Lola, Vincent, Raymond and Maren. Fondly remembered by her stepchildren Donna Rae (Brian), Doug, Debbie (Doug) and their families. Erma volunteered for many charities, including Belleville General Hospital Ladies Auxiliary and the Easter Seals Association. Mom, thank you for your love and guidance throughout the years. We will pass your great legacy on for many generations to come. Mrs. Row is resting at the JOHN R. BUSH Funeral Home, 80 Highland Avenue, Belleville, K8P 3R4 (613-968-5588). An open visitation will be held on Thursday, March 30th, 2017 from 7-9 p.m. Private Family Memorial Service to be held with Inurnment at Belleville Cemetery. As an expression of sympathy, donations to the Belleville General Hospital Ladies Auxiliary or to Westgate Lodge - Residents Fund would be appreciated.
