The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Walter "Jim" Francis can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Condolence: I worked with Jim for a number of years and he truly was a gentleman. I enjoyed our conversations and always looked forward to sharing a story or two with him. Jim was always positive and smiling anytime we interacted. My condolences to Jim and his family during this difficult time.

Condolence: We havent seen Jim in a couple of years, but his big personality, generosity and light hearted humour are remembered. Jim was fun to be around, on the golf course, and at ensuing steak barbecues. Our thoughts are with Jordan and the Francis family.

Condolence: I was shocked and saddened to hear about Jim's passing. I'm honoured to have been considered a friend of Jim's for over 40 year. I first met Jim in high school and from there our career paths overlapped each others having worked at the Paper Mill in Glen Miller and then at Warkworth Institution. Jim always greeted me with a smile on his face and when our conversations did not revolve around the good ole days he would often spoke proudly of his family. Jim will greatly be missed and my life has been enriched by having him a part of it. Rest in peace.
