The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of George Wolfe can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Thank you.

I have happy memories of gatherings and celebrations at the Rintoul home in Scarborough and at Brian and Linda's in Ajax. It was always a pleasure to see George. He was always sanguine, big-hearted and warm-spirited. It gave me a glimpse of the deep connections among these amazing Scottish immigrant families, the Wolfes and the Rintouls, and the abiding love for family and friends and sprit of extended community that joined them for so long and still does. George was an inspiring exemplar of a life lived generously and caringly, which is something to be respected, cherished and continued by those of us fortunate enough to have been gifted by the touch of his presence. My condolences to Edna, Alan and Alison and all his kin who were so close to him all these years.
