Obituary for Kathleen Elliott (Burrell)

Elliott, Kathleen (nee Burrell) – of Belleville, and passed away peacefully at the Belleville General Hospital on Friday April 8th, 2016, in her 93rd year. Daughter of the late Edgar and Abigail (Seeley) Burrell. Beloved wife of the late James Thomas Elliott. Dear mother of Lois Yellowlees (Harold) of Bowmanville, and Larry Elliott (Susan) of Brampton. Predeceased by her brothers Gordon Burrell (Jane), and Henry Burrell (Lulu). Loved by her grandchildren John Yellowlees (Jenine) of Courtice, David Yellowlees of Whitby, great grandson Alexander Yellowlees, four step-grandchildren, nine step-great grandchildren, and one step-great great grandson. Survived by her nephews Eugene Burrell of Stirling, Robert Burrell (Jane) of Belleville, and by many other nieces, nephews, sisters-in-law, and brothers-in-law. Kathleen retired from Deacon Brothers in Belleville after 26 years of service. Family and friends are invited to a visitation at the Belleville Funeral Home and Chapel Ltd., 68 North Front Street, Belleville (613-968-5080) on Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Service to be held in the Chapel on Wednesday April 13th, 2016 at 1:00p.m. with visitation one hour prior to the service. Interment will be held at the Thomasburg Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Ontario would be appreciated.
