The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Alton Young can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Thank you.

Condolences

Condolence From: Jonathon LeBeau
Condolence: Our deepest condolences to the family for the loss of my Uncle Al. I have such good memories of him, Grandpa Hank and Grandma Betty, that will be with me all the days of my life. Better known to me back in the day as "Uncle Big Beard", my Uncle Al was always ready and willing to spend time with my cousins and I, and watch a Chicago sports team. One of my favorite memories of him was when he used to sing the Flinstones cartoon theme (A-DABBA-DO TIME lol). I also know his love for his sons Nick and Brandon was always a priority, and I hope that they can move forward with their lives to make him proud. Please rest in peace Uncle Al. You will be missed.

Condolence: Al would always call me his best landlord ever. I call Al my best tenant ever. He was my cheerleader. Always in my back corner. And never said an unkind word unless his team on tv was losing. I would occasionally here him and his son cheer on their favourite sports team during a game. Yes he loved watching his sports with his sons. Although my two sons and I only got to know him and his children, Nick and Brandon for only a few years, I witnessed the total love he had for his boys and his mother who sadly passed away. He loved his sports, going to the beach on a hot summer day and rock and roll but most of all, he loved his children. I was glad to have Al in my corner, We will miss him dearly. Jackie, Matt, Cole and Jaxx
