Obituary for Myrtle Phyllis Richards (Darling)

RICHARDS, Myrtle Phyllis (nee Darling) - at Trent Valley Lodge Nursing Home, in her 94th year. Predeceased by her husband Raymond Preston Richards. Loving mother of Douglas (Brenda) of Frankford, Ralph (Barbara) of Frankford, Linda (Robert) Walt of Wooler, Doreen (Andrew) Crooks of Calgary, Glenn of Wooler, and Neil (Mary) of Ottawa. Dear grandmother of Peter (Stephanie), Sandra (Daniel), Norma (Tinku), Daniel, Heather, Barry (Jettene), Jennifer (Jim), Gwendolyn (Gary), Christopher, David, Benjamin, Karen and Ian and step grandchildren Dwayne, Daina and Kevin. Dear great grandmother of Denise, David, Andrea, Justin, Tyler and Keira, Connor and Taylor, Emily, Lauren, Anna, Grant, Nicole, Mathew, Adam, and Carolyn. Predeceased by her parents, Harry Darling and Ethel Gainforth, her sister, Jeane Louise, and her brothers, John Arthur and George William Darling and by three grandchildren. Myrtle’s life revolved around her family, her church and her flowers. Funeral service will be held from Wooler United Church, Wooler on Sunday, October 26th, 2014 at 2p.m. Rev. Kathy Edmison officiating. Private family interment at McPhail‘s Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Wooler United Church Memorial Fund or Charity of your choice would be appreciated.
