Pope, Dorothy Audrey RN– It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Dorothy Pope on Saturday, October 20th, 2018, in her 89th year at the Belleville General Hospital. Daughter of the late Oliver and Johanna Sehl nee Strauss. Survived by loving husband Clyde Pope. Beloved mother of Mary Rushlow (Steve), DR. Janet Pope, Ann Pope, David Pope and Jeffrey Pope. Dear sister of Rita Traynor predeceased by sister Mary Jauch; predeceased by brothers Joseph Sehl (Sheilagh) and Robert Sehl (surviving Jean). Dorothy was a proud grandmother of Adam, Jacquie (Andrew), Danielle (Jason), Jessica (Colin), Paul (Janice), Jonathon, Theresa (Russell), Patrick, Andrea, Emily, Daniel, Julian, Andrew and Sarah. Great grandmother of Malcolm and Henry. Friends may call at the BELLEVILLE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 68 North Front St., Belleville (613-968-5080) on Thursday, October 25th, 2018 from 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm and 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm. Funeral services will be held at Holy Rosary Church Friday, October 26th, 2018 at 11:00 am. If desired, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or Holy Rosary Building Fund would be greatly appreciated by the family.
