CHATTEN, Wayne Richard – July 3, 1951 – June 29, 2018
Passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his family after a long battle with supranuclear palsy. Wayne was a dedicated son to his mother Lillian Mary (Bulman) and Dean Wilbert Chatten (deceased).
He leaves behind his wife and best friend Barbara (nee Miron) and adored son Ryan and daughter in law Meghan.
He is the beloved brother of Susan Clarke (Dale) and Christine Weese (Mark). Wayne was the loved son in law of Rita and Joe Miron (both deceased). He leaves behind his in-laws Linda, Peter (Wendy), Patsy (Murray), Michael (Marg), Brian (Marilyn), Debbie (Dave). He was loved by his many nieces and nephews.
Wayne was a long time employee of Ontario Hydro.
We would like to thank the numerous professional and compassionate medical teams that assisted to make Wayne comfortable. We would like to say a special thank you to his dedicated and caring PSW Krista.
The family will receive friends at the Brighton Funeral Home, 130 Main Street, Brighton (613-475-2121), on Friday, July 6, 2018 from 11 o’clock. A Celebration of Wayne’s Life will follow in the funeral home. Interment Hilton Cemetery. As an expression of sympathy, donations to the Charity of your choice, would be appreciated by the family.
