THOMPSON, Kenneth Derwood Passed peacefully at his home in Brighton on Monday, May 29, 2017, age 65 years. Ken Thompson, son of the late Kenneth Thompson Sr. and Mabel (Hodge). Loving husband of Mary (Barrett). Dear father of Ken Thompson of Trenton, Brad Thompson (Kristyn Dey) of Frankford, Jay Thompson (Angela Hilwerda) of Frankford, and Alexandra “Alex” Thompson (Justine Lemay) of Belleville. Brother of Diana Thompson of Smiths Falls, Doreen Thompson of Kingston, and the late Matthew Thompson. Sadly missed by his seven grandchildren, and his two nephews David and Shawn. A Memorial Service will be held at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 117 Lisgar Street, Smithfield, on Satuday, June 10, 2017 at 2 o’clock. Cremation. As an expression of sympathy, donations to the Diabetes Association, Your Local Humane Society, the Kidney Foundation, or the Heart and Stroke Foundation, would be appreciated by the family.
