It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Verna Clancy on Friday, March 3rd, 2023, in her 89th year. Daughter of the late Harry and Edna Brown (nee Sharp). Predeceased by her loving husband Gerald and son Harry. Loving mother of Janice McGeachy (Wayne), Valerie McGeachy (late Jim) and Marsha Cuculuzzi (Mike) all of Stirling. Cherished Grandmother of Lisa, Jason, Michael, Derek, Danielle, Evan, Leah, Dale, Ryan and Jenna. Great Grandmother of twelve. Verna was predeceased by her infant brother Edward Brown. Arrangements entrusted to RUSHNELL FUNERAL HOMES - BELLEVILLE, (80 Highland Ave .613-968-5588). Visitation will be held at St. Paul's United Church (104 Church St., Stirling) on Saturday, March 11, 2023 from 11:00 - 1:00 pm. Memorial Service will follow at 1:00 pm. Reverend Cheryl McMurray officiating. Private interment at Wellman’s Cemetery at a later date. If desired, memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or Heart and Stroke Foundation would be greatly appreciated by the family.
