WOOD, Mary Lorraine - Our mother, Mary Lorraine (Forbes) Wood had lost her battle with cancer, on Sunday, December 11, 2022. She was 81 years old. She was surrounded by her husband Harold Wood, and two son’s, Scott Wood and his husband John Weber, and Michael Wood and his wife Michelle Wood.  She is survived by two brothers, Jim Forbes and wife Kayla, and Harry Forbes and wife Linda. Also by her sister Elsie Lalonde (Forbes) and husband John Lalonde. She will be missed by her grandchildren, Sara Wood, Andrew Wood, all of her nieces and nephews; Paula, Kelly, John, Jamie, and Aliza. The family would like to thank all of the staff and volunteers at Hospice Quinte, for their outstanding loving care they gave to Mary in her last days. You truly are angels on earth. There will be no Funeral Service. the family will hold a Celebration of Life for Mary sometime in the spring.
