It is with profound sadness that we announce the sudden and unexpected death of John Laurison Kiser in his 61st year of life. Predeceased by his parents, Victor George Kiser and Marilyn Elizabeth Kiser (née Bird). He is lovingly remembered by his brother Stephen Kiser, sister-in-law Karen (Dryden), nephew Aidan and niece Lauren. He will be missed by family and friends. John previously worked for the Sears Distribution Centre where he was well respected by colleagues. As a lifelong member of Eastminster United Church, his Faith and community were integral in his life. John always wore a smile on his face, loved to laugh and offer a kind word to others. He enjoyed attending hockey games, watching the Blue Jays play and had a fondness for travel. John touched the lives of many with his genuine heart and kind soul. Arrangements entrusted to RUSHNELL FUNERAL HOMES - BELLEVILLE, (80 Highland Ave .613-968-5588). A Memorial Service will be held at Eastminster United Church, 432 Bridge Street East, Belleville on Thursday, April 6th, 2023 at 11:00 am, with visitation one hour prior to the service. Interment at Belleville Cemetery. If desired, memorial donations to the Canadian Diabetes Association or Heart & Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
