DeBoer, Hilbert – It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Hilbert at the Trenton Memorial Hospital on Thursday, March 2nd, 2023, in his 87th year. Son of the late Jan DeBoer and Ann Zandstra (late Dirk). Beloved husband of almost 64 years to Dora DeBoer (nee Hoftyzer). Loving father of Alida (Suleiman), Arlene (Kirby), Adrian (Fran), John (Jodi), and Sandra (Paul). Devoted Pake to Kevin (Lisa), Bryce (Dana), Julie (Bryce), Angela (Ryan), Eric, Nicole (Logan), Shawn, Darren, Renee and 13 great-grandchildren Mackenzie, Abigail, Alec, Ruby, Mason, Rhys, Charlotte, late Grace, Kiera, Caden, Rowen, Tysen, Asher, and Marcus. Survived by his siblings Mary (late Albert), Sylvia (late John), Bill (late Emmy), Shirley (late Ron), Greta (late John), Jane (late Gilbert), Margaret (late Clarence), Wilma (Hans), Rose (James), and Dick (Evelyn). Predeceased by his sister Linda. The family will receive friends at Ebenezer Christian Reformed Church on Monday, March 6th, 2023 from 2-4 & 7-9p.m. Funeral Service will be held from Ebenezer Christian Reformed Church, Trenton on Tuesday, March 7th, 2023 at 11:00a.m.. Interment to take place at Carrying Place Cemetery in the spring. Pastor Adam Veenstra officiating.
