Obituary for Brett Lloyd Crawford
CRAWFORD, Brett Lloyd – On Monday, May 8, 2023. Brett Crawford, of
Madoc, in his 49 th year. Son of Diane Crawford (nee Morrison), and the
late Garth Crawford. Beloved Husband of Trena Crawford (nee McKay).
Loving Father of Jenna Crawford, Emily Crawford, and Maddy Crawford.
Dear Brother of Heather Baxter (Sean), and Trevor Crawford (Angie).
Loved Son-In-Law of Luanne and Terry Warren, and the late Ronald
McKay. Fondly remembered by his Sister-In-Law Carrie (Bruce), Nieces
and Nephews, Troy, Makayla, Shelby, Evan, Kenzie, Maya, Rylee,
Avelynn, his many Aunts, Uncles, Family and Friends.
Brett was a Navy brat who spent most of his childhood living in
Dartmouth.
In 1988 moved to Cedar Hill and attended Pakenham Public
and Almonte High School. He was a Thunderbolt Football Player and still had long lasting friends from his team.
In 1999 he married his high school sweetheart Trena, and he had three beautiful daughters Jenna, Emily, and Maddy.
Over the past 27 years, Brett has travelled the world with Research
Casting International, fabricating and installing some of the most
significant and monumental exhibits and displays in some of the most
prestigious museums and science centres around the planet.
He was a dedicated family man who loved to BBQ and be surrounded by
his family. His laugh and dimply smile were infectious and instantly
made you feel at ease. He was a dedicated Kiwanian volunteering for over 16 years with the club.
His passing has left an enormous hole in our hearts, and he will never be forgotten.

Resting at Rushnell Funeral Homes – Madoc, 112 Durham Street South, on
Tuesday, May 16, 2023, from 11:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m. Memorial Service to
follow in the Chapel, at 1:30 p.m. Pastor Herb Borger officiating. A
Celebration of Brett’s Life will follow the Memorial Service, at Madoc
Kiwanis Club, 139 Saint Lawrence Street East, Madoc. If desired,
