Doris passed peacefully at the Madonna Care Community on Friday, August 11th, in her 99th year. Beloved wife to the late Thomas Beninger. Loving mother of the late Mary-Ellen (Ken Cochrane) and the late Robert (Sandra), grandmother of Ashley, Amy, Sarah, and Tommy, great-grandmother to Walter Robert. Doris was loved by many and will be remembered for her caring spirit, good sense of humour, and ability to make those around her smile.



A visitation will be held at Belleville Funeral Home and Chapel, 68 North Front St., Belleville, ON on Sunday, August 20 from 2:00-4:00 pm. Funeral services will be held in the Chapel on Monday, August 21 at 10 am. Interment at St. James’ Cemetery. If desired, memorial donations may be made to the C.N.I.B.
