The family of Edna May Burley sadly announce her passing on Saturday, June 10th, 2017 at the Hastings Manor. Edna Burley (nee Caverly) was in her 96th year was the daughter of the late Charles Caverly and Mary Jane (nee Morris). Wife of the late Howard Conger Burley. Beloved mother of James “Jim” (Tina) of Belleville and she is predeceased by her daughter Sharon Hovinga, and her sons Donald, Fred & Victor. Edna is predeceased by her sister Helen Chipps (Bud) and by her brothers Chuck, George, Carmen, Jack and Bruce. Edna will be fondly remembered by her 7 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren and her many nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Edna’s Life will be held at the Belleville Funeral Home & Chapel, 68 N. Front St., Belleville (613-968-5080) on Friday, June 16th, 2017 at 1 pm. Visitation will be held on Thursday evening from 7-9 p.m. Inurnment Belleville Cemetery. If desired, donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
