MCINTOSH, Norma, Jean (nee Coleman)
Our precious mother passed away at Belleville General Hospital on August 14th, 2019. We are devastated. Norma was welcomed into this world by her parents William and Mary Coleman (Treadwell) on May 1, 1929 and lived in Belleville all her life. When she was 15 years old Norma met the love of her life, Murray McIntosh. They were married in 1950 and became the proud parents of three daughters, Debra McIntosh, Meribeth Ricketts (Andy) and Margot McIntosh (Judi). How lucky we were!!! Norma was predeceased by her parents, her husband and her sisters, Joyce Cherrington (Jack) and Reta Burgess (Clare). Norma was a kind, gentle, compassionate, empathetic, and loyal person. She had life-long, dear friends who will miss her dearly. Norma will be missed greatly by her son-in-law Andy Ricketts, daughter-in-law Judi Gilbert, grandchildren Bree Gaber (Austin) and Kristen Stewart (Jonny) and great grandchildren Sophie and Kai Gaber and Jack Stewart as well as many nieces and nephews. She will also be missed by all of her bridge playing partners, Norma loved bridge. Mom, we love and miss you so much. Friends may call at the JOHN R. BUSH FUNERAL HOME, 80 Highland Ave., Belleville (613-968-5588) on Tuesday, August 20th, 2019 from 10:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m. Funeral service to follow in the chapel at 11:00 a.m. Luncheon to follow funeral service.
