Passed away unexpectedly at home, on Saturday, April 27th, 2019. Tom Matthews of Belleville was 65. Son of Eunice Matthews (nee Juby) and the late Donald Matthews. Dear father to Daniel and Kevin Matthews. He is survived by sisters Rose Marie Gatien (Bernie), Anne Mott, Lorraine Poste, Cheri Booth (John), Mary Haddock and brother Donald Matthews (Bonnie). Missed by his grandchildren Kane and Tegan.
Cremation has taken place. The family will hold A Celebration of His Life on Saturday, May 11th, 2019 starting at 11 a.m. in the John R. Bush Funeral Home Reception Centre, 80 Highland Avenue, Belleville (613-968-5588). Inurnment at Eggleton-Clarke Cemetery, Stirling at 2 p.m. If desired, donations in memory of Tom to Parkinson Canada would be appreciated by the family.
